A large flock of tree swallows that suddenly appeared while I was sitting out reading on the deck. Must have been hundreds of them, on the beach, in the air, making a racket and a catching bugs in the air.
A large pod of dolphins surfacing as we sat out on the deck. Probably 20 or more, based on how many we would see appear at once over a rather wide swath of the coast. At first it just looked like a couple, but then behind them appeared a whole bunch more.
